Shrub Program
Trad's Shrub Program offers fertilization, disease control and insect control. The base of the Shrub Program is three treatments: Spring treatment for the prevention of insects and disease, Late Spring/Early Summer treatment for complete fertilization, and Summer treatment for the prevention and cure of insects and disease.
Very few Shrub problems can be corrected with one or two treatments, so our program has a base to work from and the Shrub technicians retreat and check shrubs throughout the year.
We use the same fertilizer on our customer's shrubs that we use in the Garden Center. The fertilizer we use is custom blended and breaks down slowly over the growing season. We use very specialized products for the control of shrub insects and shrub diseases.
We cannot offer treatment for naturalized trees, potted plants, plants on patios/decks, annuals or edible plants. Under special circumstances we will treat fruit trees, roses and plants inside pool cages. Excluded are wood boring insects, termites, slugs, snails, blights, viruses, root rots and root fungus, cold damage, heat stress, and drought damage. We do not treat weeds in beds.
As a convenience to the customer, Trad's takes the entire cost of the program and pro-rates the amount over the course of the yearly agreement. Trad's customers make smaller, monthly payments for the service instead of being asked to keep track of services on a pay as you go program. We schedule the three applications in the office and send out your shrub technician for you. If the customer notices a problem, a simple call to the office results in a service call by the technician.
Every time Trad's makes a visit to a customer's lawn, a note will be left with any information the customer needs. Also, a sign will be left in the yard any time a treatment is made.
Trad's realizes that circumstances can change for our customers: relocation, moves, retirement, etc. Therefore a customer may cancel their agreement at any time by simply giving Trad's a thirty day written notice and paying for the services provided through the date of cancellation. Because Trad's customers pay a monthly pro-rated amount for the three applications over the course of twelve months, partial year cost is formulated at the rate of four payments per one (1) application.
