The
Service
Trad’s provides a very user-friendly program for
its customers. The Lawn Care Program covers the four
major turf destroying insects: chinch bugs, mole crickets,
sod web worms, and fall army worms; in addition to weed
control, disease control, and fertilization.
Trad’s customers receive six applications of
specially formulated turf fertilizations per growing
season. Because the applications are spread over the
course of the growing season, the treatment interval
is usually 50 to 60 days, weather dependent. To these
applications, additives such as broad leaf weed control products
(Spring and Fall only), insect control products, potassium
and other elements are included when appropriate. Included
in the cost of the program are unlimited service calls
and any treatments necessary as a result of the service
calls. Service calls are the customer’s responsibility
to make.
As a convenience to the customer, Trad’s takes
the entire cost of the program and pro-rates the amount
over the course of the yearly agreement. Trad’s
customers make smaller, monthly payments for the service
instead of being asked to keep track of services on
a pay as you go program. We fully realize that many
of our customers have hired us because they either do
not want to be bothered with fertilizing their lawns
or do not know enough about the process to take it on
themselves. We therefore take the guesswork out of treatments
for our customers. We schedule the six applications
in the office and send out your sprayer for you. If
the customer notices a problem, a simple call to the
office results in a service call by a trained lawn inspector.
The lawn inspector will diagnose the problem and making
any necessary treatments.
Every time Trad’s makes a visit to a customer’s
lawn, a note will be left with any information the customer
needs. Also, a sign will be left in the yard any time
a treatment is made.
Trad’s realizes that circumstances can change
for our customers: relocation, moves, retirement, etc.
Therefore a customer may cancel their agreement at any
time by simply giving Trad’s a thirty day written
notice and paying for the services provided through
the date of cancellation. Because Trad’s customers
pay a monthly pro-rated amount for the six applications
over the course of twelve months, partial year cost
is formulated at the rate of two (2) payments per one
(1) application.
